JT Roselle Lighting was founded in 2008 by Chief Executive Officer Jim Roselle. He and his father, Wallace Roselle, originally formed JDC Lighting in 1986 operating out of their home on Long Island. Within three short years they became recognized and respected throughout the New York City area. Their company pioneered the development strategy of working with General Contractors focusing on major interior lighting.  As they perfected this revolutionary approach into an artform, they emerged as New York City’s largest lighting supplier.


The company enjoyed market dominance in NYC from 1991 through 2001, while Jim simultaneously joined forces with Joseph Mastromonaco and Richard Corbin to establish sister company, JDC Power Systems, currently one of the largest suppliers of data center power equipment in the United States. 

The attention to detail, friendly reliable service, and exceptional customer service has earned JT Roselle Lighting a stable of marquee brand satisfied customers for the past 34 years. The entire team is a family of professionals with an average of 30 years’ experience working together, a fact that is truly unique in the commercial lighting industry.

LEADERSHIP

James Roselle 

President

Jim has been in the electrical lighting distribution industry for over 34 years since he and his father founded their first company back in 1986. Over the years Jim has been at the forefront in developing a strategy of working directly with the General Contractors, Construction Managers and Owners to supply major lighting and controls packages for some of the largest and most prestigious projects in New York  City including the Foley Square Courthouse, Sony Corporate World Headquarters, Goldman Sachs, Met Life, NYU Kimmel and Credit Suisse.  Jim is deeply involved in all major projects and makes it a point to oversee all aspects of each project until completion. His attention to detail and dedication to the job has filtered down and is part of the culture and approach that makes the JT Roselle Lighting Inc. team and company a leader in their industry for decades.

Samantha Tyers 

Sr. Project Manager

Samantha joined JT Roselle Lighting, Inc. in 2011 and serves as Senior Project Manager overseeing the Project Management lighting team. For over 20 years, Samantha has been a part of the electrical lighting industry with experience working at Avon Electrical Supplies as Lead Project Manager. In 2007 Samantha transitioned to a factory direct representative at Acuity Brands Lighting while heading Warehouse Stock and Flow for National Accounts and continuing her Project Management focus. Samantha graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Speech Pathology / Audiology along with studies in Business Management. She has received merits for LEED With Light and has worked on some of New York City’s high-profile projects including Citi Field, Yankee Stadium, NYCTA & NYU Kimmel Langone Medical Center.

Amanda Bulzoni 

Project Manager

Amanda joined us in 2013 as a Project Manager in our lighting division. For over 13 years, Amanda has been part of the electrical lighting industry. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has factory training from a number of manufacturers including Cooper Lighting. Amanda has worked on some of the largest / high profile projects in New York City, ranging from the World Trade Center, South Ferry Terminal, NY Presbyterian Hospital & Hudson Yards.

Eric Leroy

Head Estimator - Special Projects

Eric joined us in 2009 and has been working with Jim Roselle for the past 30 years as his trusted estimating professional. With over 35 years of experience as an electrician, lighting agency rep and distributor, Eric brings invaluable knowledge to his role as Head Estimator in charge of Special Projects to JT Roselle. His relationships in the electrical and general contracting community and his abilities to tackle the most prestigious jobs in the New York City market make him an essential part of the JT Roselle family. Eric resides in Wantagh, NY with his wife and 2 daughters and enjoys taking cruises to the Caribbean with the family.

Kalen Stickelman 

Chief Estimator

Kalen joined us in 2013 as Assistant Estimator and Project Manager. He continuously developed his skills and currently manages the quotes department ensuring that bids are issued in a timely and effective manner. He has forged strong relationships with our Electrical and General Contractor clients and is an integral part of our sales team. Kalen has worked on many of our major projects from initial bidding through completion. He graduated from NYIT with a BS in Architectural Technology. He is highly involved in his community on Long Island’s South Shore and enjoys spending time with his family.
